AT THE HOMESTEAD

DINING AT MTE

Welcome to dining at the Homestead. Here we all eat together at big shared tables where you can meet new friends and share your days activities and experiences in the Kimberley.

At MtE we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner to our inhouse guests and dinner only to our guests in the campground. Our meals are offered as a set menu only.

Dinner reservations are in high demand and need to be booked prior to arrival.

BREAKFAST - Continental style breakfast. Served at 7am.

LUNCH - packed takeaway lunch, ploughman's style or sandwich with cake and drink - ready for collection at breakfast.

DINNER - a traditional style two course meal, featuring our own beef with salads or vegetables as the main meal and a dessert.  Dinner is served at 6.30pm.

A bit about what you will be eating...it will be our beef!  Burton Beef. Our cattle are born and bred at Mt Elizabeth Station on the natural grasslands of the Kimberley.  At mustering our sale cattle are trucked to Kilto Station (near Broome) where they graze the irrigated pastures of Kilto before being processed in our modern abattoir on the property. Our beef is naturally tender, full of flavour and a genuine local product.

Enjoy your meal at MtE and make sure you take some beef with you when you leave. See our selection of steak, burgers & sausages at the homestead, vacuum packed conveniently ready for you to cook. If you are travelling west, our beef is available at Birdwood Downs Station and Willare Bridge Roadhouse, near Derby.  Also at our  retail store in Broome, The Station Store.

THE MTE SHOP

At the Homestead, you will find our little shop which sells everything MTE so that you can take home a memento of your visit.                         We also have a great selection of books, fresh coffee, some food essentials, Burton Beef BBQ packs, and ice.                                    Diesel is also available to purchase.

WiFi is available & free in the Homestead dining area and garden, you are welcome to find a seat under a shady tree and stay as      long as you like to get those emails and phone calls done.
